About Us

Talaween is a youth-led community organization dedicated to creating safe, inclusive, and psychosocially supportive spaces for children in Palestine. Officially established under the Palestinian Law of Charitable Associations and Community Organizations (Law No. 1 of 2000), Talaween works to nurture children’s well-being, creativity, and resilience through meaningful community-based programs.

Our Vision

To excel in providing purposeful and qualitative recreational activities that refine children's personalities, discover their skills and talents, and work on developing and effectively investing in them.

Our Mission

To provide friendly and safe spaces that broaden children's horizons, develop their creative imagination, and enhance their spirit of exploration, experimentation, and social interaction.

Our Goals

• To provide friendly and safe spaces for children in humanitarian situations, allowing them to participate in organized activities for play, adaptation, and expression of their feelings.

• To create suitable environments for discovering children's talents, hobbies, and desires, and support them in expressing their interests and inclinations.

• To help children overcome psychological trauma through recreational activities that contribute to alleviating the psychological and social effects suffered by Palestinian children due to difficult circumstances.

• To provide an appropriate environment to reduce academic pressure on children and assist them in organizing their time in a balanced manner.

• To enhance children's psychological well-being, reduce their stress levels, and support positive coping mechanisms through summer camps, recreational activities, and organizing days of joy and fun.

Our Values

• Professionalism: We strive to deliver organized events with high standards of quality and professionalism.

• Innovation: We create new and beneficial activities that contribute to enhancing children's talents and abilities.
